The Sonolor–Gitane cycling team was a prominent French professional team in 1974, formed by the merger of the Gitane–Frigécrème team into the Sonolor team. It boasted a strong roster, including future legend Bernard Hinault, Belgian climber Lucien Van Impe, and Mariano Martinez.
