Another classic of the late 1980's era of cycling. Carrera were an Italian-based road cycling team, active from 1984 to 1996.
Here is the yellow jersey of the winner of the 1987 Tour de France worn by the Irish rider Stephen Roche in the Italian team Carrera. Roche won a thrilling Tour, narrowly edging out Spain’s Pedro Delgado by 40 seconds. The Irishman scored the double after winning the Giro d’Italia.
